About this website
This page is served on Vocleo’s marketing website, which is separate from the iOS app described below. The website is informational and includes an interactive preview. What you type or select in that preview (for example, the Memory Check) runs entirely in your browser and is not sent to us, stored, or associated with you.
The site does not use advertising trackers, analytics trackers, or cross-site tracking. It is hosted by Vercel, which may process standard technical request information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and secure the site. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy.
1. Who We Are
Vocleo is developed and published by:
Developer: Amol Pomane
Studio name: Mobify Studio
Country: India
Privacy contact: mobifyappstudio@gmail.com
For applicable data-protection laws, including the EU and UK GDPR and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, Amol Pomane is the data controller or data fiduciary for personal data processed through Vocleo.
Questions, complaints and privacy-rights requests may be sent to mobifyappstudio@gmail.com, or reached directly on WhatsApp.
2. Information We Process
Vocleo is designed to work locally on your device wherever reasonably possible.
2.1 No Account or Registration Information
Vocleo does not require or offer:
- Account creation
- Email registration
- Phone-number registration
- Social login
- User profiles
We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number to use the App.
2.2 Vocabulary and Learning Progress
As you use Vocleo, the following information may be stored locally on your device:
- Words you have studied
- Review history
- Spaced-repetition schedules
- Recall or confidence selections
- Consistency and milestone information
- Test-date and study-pace preferences
- Daily goals
- App preferences and settings
This information is stored in Vocleo’s local application database. It is not transmitted to the Developer or an external Vocleo server.
2.3 Optional Private iCloud Backup
If iCloud is available and you enable Vocleo’s backup feature, Vocleo may store a backup of your local learning database in your private iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit service.
The backup is intended to help restore progress after reinstalling Vocleo or moving to a replacement device. It is not intended to provide continuous multi-device synchronisation.
The backup is stored in the private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account. Apple hosts and protects this information under Apple’s privacy and security terms. Vocleo does not operate a separate server that receives or stores a copy of your learning database.
The restore process is designed to restore a backup only when a fresh installation does not already contain local progress. It should not overwrite an existing local learning database.
When you select “Delete All Progress,” Vocleo deletes the local learning database and requests deletion of the corresponding iCloud backup. If the device is offline, deletion of the iCloud copy may complete once the device reconnects to iCloud.
You may also manage or delete Vocleo’s iCloud data through your device’s iCloud settings.

2.4 Purchases, Subscriptions and RevenueCat
Vocleo may offer:
- A monthly auto-renewing subscription
- An annual auto-renewing subscription
- A one-time lifetime purchase
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Apple may collect your Apple Account information, payment method, billing address and transaction information under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Vocleo and its Developer do not receive or store your complete card number, bank-account information or Apple Account password.
Vocleo uses RevenueCat to display available purchase options, validate transactions, restore purchases and manage premium entitlements.
When Vocleo checks purchase options or entitlement status, RevenueCat may process:
- A randomly generated, app-specific user identifier
- App version and device-platform information
- App Store storefront information
- Products offered to you
- Purchase and transaction records
- Subscription status
- Renewal, expiration and trial status
- Refund or cancellation status
- Lifetime-purchase entitlement status
The RevenueCat identifier does not directly contain your name, email address or Apple Account credentials. However, it is a pseudonymous identifier and may qualify as personal data under applicable law.

2.5 Optional Diagnostics and Analytics
Vocleo includes a “Share Diagnostics & Analytics” control in Settings → Privacy.
This control is off by default.
While it remains off:
- Firebase Analytics does not collect or transmit analytics events.
- Firebase Crashlytics does not transmit crash or diagnostic reports.
- Data is not collected for later retroactive transmission.
If you turn it on, Vocleo may use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, services provided by Google LLC.
Firebase Analytics
Firebase Analytics may process pseudonymous product-usage events such as:
- Completion of an onboarding step
- Completion of a learning or review session
- Achievement of a milestone
- Use of a particular feature
- Coarse counts, such as the number of words reviewed
- App version, device model and operating-system version
- A Firebase-generated app-instance identifier
- Approximate event timestamps
Vocleo is designed not to include the following in analytics events:
- The vocabulary words you study
- Definitions, examples or notes
- Free text you enter
- Your name or email address
- Precise location
- Apple Account or payment information
Firebase Crashlytics
If diagnostics sharing is enabled and Vocleo crashes or encounters a reportable technical error, Crashlytics may receive:
- Crash stack traces
- Error messages and error codes
- Device model
- Operating-system version
- App version and build number
- Device and application state around the crash
- Approximate crash timestamp
- A Crashlytics-generated installation identifier
Crash reports are used only to identify, diagnose and fix technical problems.
Vocleo is designed not to deliberately place vocabulary content, personal notes or directly identifying information in Crashlytics logs, custom keys or error reports.
You may turn “Share Diagnostics & Analytics” off at any time. Turning it off stops future collection and transmission but does not automatically delete information previously transmitted.

2.6 Notifications
Vocleo may send local notifications for purposes such as:
- Review reminders
- Consistency reminders
- Study-goal reminders
- Trial-ending reminders
These notifications are scheduled locally using Apple’s notification framework. Notification content and schedules are not sent to the Developer or a Vocleo server.
You can manage notification permissions through iOS Settings.
2.7 Widgets, Siri Shortcuts and App Intents
Vocleo may provide widgets, Siri Shortcuts and App Intents.
These features may read limited learning information from a shared App Group container on your device to display progress or perform an action. This information is processed locally and is not transmitted to the Developer.
Apple may process Siri, App Intent or operating-system interactions under Apple’s own privacy terms, depending on your device settings.
2.8 Support Communications
If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we may receive:
- Your email address or phone number
- Your name, if included in your email account or message
- The contents of your message
